Bottom Flush Bolt Replacement at a South Charlotte Car Dealership

Location: South Charlotte, NC
Property: Car dealership
Service: Bottom flush bolt replacement
Project total: $225
The problem
A car dealership in South Charlotte had a broken lower door fixing mechanism, known as a bottom flush bolt. This bolt secures one leaf of a pair of doors into the threshold. It is part of the door's locking hardware, rather than a door closer.
What we did
YOUR LOCKSMITHS ordered the replacement component for the customer and replaced the damaged bottom flush bolt assembly. The photographs document the commercial glass entrance doors and the removed hardware, including the rod and operating mechanism.
Replacing the component that needed attention
A commercial entrance includes more than the lock visible at hand height. On a pair of doors, the bottom flush bolt holds the inactive door leaf at the threshold. Understanding that function makes it possible to describe the fault and source the relevant replacement hardware.
This job addressed the broken bottom fixing assembly while keeping the existing entrance doors. The $225 total covered the replacement of that component. The existing entrance remained in place, with the work focused on the hardware that needed attention.
The completed work
The broken bottom flush bolt was replaced for an actual project total of $225. The work addressed the damaged fixing component in the existing commercial door assembly.
